these little ladies are female brown headed cowbirds...

this is the first time I've seen more than one...
there was a whole flock today....
these are a group of male brown headed cowbirds...
they look so different from the females...
"it sure is nice getting out of the nest..."
"I haven't ate out in weeks"
"the foods not too bad"
"Eat up girls...then back to the nests..."

They certainly seem to be enjoying pecking around in your yard! i didn't realize the male and female cowbird looked so different.

I have never even heard of cowbirds! Are they called anything else.
