they can be loud....and messy...

I love watching birds too! You get a lot more variety then I do. I mostly have sparrows and doves. One time I got a hawk at my feeder, sure wish I could have gotten a picture of him.
Your so sweet. 40 pounds of food and bird poop on my car would not sit well with me.
