This...that...and the other...

I've looked for these wildflowers on the net...
haven't found the name....
but aren't they pretty...
they remind me of those fiber optic lamps....

I know I've said it before....
but I love wildflowers....

I dug up some Indian paintbrushes and brought them home...
I hope they will make it....

I also brought home some cactus....
well it is count down time to Easter...
so excited to spend it with Little Britches...
gonna have a little Easter photo shoot with him tomorrow...

I have so much to do to get ready for company....
of course I always put too much on my list to get done...
 somethings get left undone...
and I always say I will get more done next time...
or make a shorter list...
but it usually ends up the same every time...
Hubbie's gonna fire up the big ole man sized smoker...
brisket...ribs...chicken...
are you the host this year for Easter???
or do you get to be the guest????

Love your flowers, they are so pretty! Haven't a clue to what one of them is called. Oh my, your husband's going to have some sizzling yummy stuff for all to enjoy! Sounds great. We are going to be guests and will have guests here too! Enjoy your weekend!

Your fiber optic bloom is 'sensitive plant'...if you gently touch the leaves they will fold up. I have this quite aggressive ground cover. Can't recall the scientific name of it right now.

I think I am the host. That smoker sounds like a good idea.

Beautiful wildflower pictures~~~
The smoker sounds like a great idea!

Easter lunch is always at our house. Not sure how many, but the last count was 14. Wednesday will be shopping day.
Have a blessed Easter.

Yeaaaaaaa... Header pic! Another in the "Rust Rocks" Saga of Photos. :-)

Beeeutiful first pink flowers! Yes, fiber optic lamps. Did the guy who invented those lamps, get his idea from these sweet little wild flowers?

Gentle hugs,

Easter Dinner will be a whole-family thing this year. The consensus will pick all the details. Fine with me. I just go with the flow. :-)

Gentle hugs,

Hey Deb -- We're the host, as usual. Rick's smoking ham and chicken breasts, and I'm doing my homemade potato salad and pinto beans. Let the Easter celebrations begin! Happy Passover!

We get to go to my niece's so all I have to do is bring a dessert. Yahoo!

Your pics are beautiful btw!

Your wild flowers are so pretty. I don't know what they are, but I like that round purple one, too.

I am going out of town for Easter. We will have Easter brunch at a restaurant with my Mom and Dad. No dishes, no cooking, no bring-a-dish-to-pass....I like that now and then.

But overall there is nothing better than a big family Easter dinner with little kids, egg hunts, baskets and chocolate bunnies. Unfortunatley we have no little kiddos in our family any more. Enjoy your day with Little Britches--his adult memories are being made now!

I love all flowers--including the Texas Bluebonnets you shows a number of posts back. Hope you have a wonderful Easter with your family.

Picking up our daughter & her roommate for the weekend here! Looking forward to lots of fun.
