So what does a almost 4 year old do on a nice warm Monday in Texas....

well if you can't play in the pool yet...
cause Mom wants to make sure the ear is healed...
An Oma gets creative....
a water hose...
a fresh pile of soil...
buckets...shovels...dump trucks...

you have a little good clean fun...
well maybe a little good mud fun...
mud pies...mud houses...
mud...mud...and more mud...

Oma also gets a nice little photo op....
Hotrod was ready for a nice long nap...
after playing in the mud...
then having a picnic lunch with Oma and Pawpaw..
Pawpaw cooked burgers on the grill...

I'm going to try to be a better blogger this week...
but I can't make any promises...
we have a busy weekend coming up...
lots to do to get ready for it....

Pawpaw is building Hotrod a swing set for his birthday...
we have an old frame that needs a little work...
Pawpaw will make it good as new...
we like repurposing things around here...

Rooster had to get in on the action...
Ginger stayed clear....
Happy Monday....

Those are such cute pictures Debbie!
Wow is he growing up quickly.
It was very warm here today and now we have some nasty storms.
But I am just happy it's summer.
Hugs friend,
Cindy

i always loved to play in mud and wade in mud puddles in the dirt street we lived on. HR is having a blast and we know Rooster loves mud and water... i have a horse in a pool on my post today.

of course Rooster had to check out the action! Might be something edible in there...

Little boys enjoy nothing more than playing with a dump truck in mud. Great captures of a fun time!
