it is amazing how good fake or artificial flowers can look...

these are so cheery and springy...

Hubby and were looking at a job the other day...
while he was on the roof...I got out my camera...

I just love the design of this wall...

such a cool little court yard area...

love the metal window covers....

I think this is cool with the paint peeling off and the brick showing through..

you can see where vines use to be attached to the building...

the wild vines love this place...
gives it charachter...

they are turning this building into a indoor craft bazaar...
with local talents selling there goods...
I can't wait to see how it turns out...

I'm so glad I have my blog to post all the things I see...

and since I have started blogging I seem to notice details more...

different angles...designs...colors...shapes...

maybe I just appreciate the world around me more..

since I'm a woman of a certain age...

A little Fall has landed at FIL's house

you may have noticed my new header...

I decorated these pumpkins for my FIL...

I went with a Fall theme instead of Halloween..

now we can use them for Thanksgiving also...

he grumbled and fussed a bit...

what's all the pumpkins about...

but now he is enjoying them...

found this little cutie for $1 at Dollar General...

bought 2 of them...

aren't they sweet...

a little mat for $1 and wooden pumpkin $2....

he loves barns so I found this for $2 for the front door...

a bag of baby pumpkins for $2...

for under $25....he is set for Halloween and Fall....

Around the yard...

took a little walk around my FIL's yard...

I know these are weeds...

but aren't they pretty...

like little daisies...

I loved picking them when I was a kid...

the birds like these....

fall leaves...

these reminded me of butterfly wings...

 our leaves are starting to turn and fall here in Texas...

we're still very warm...

expecting it to be 80 on Halloween...

Little britches turned 4 months old ...

time flies when your having fun....

Much better weekend...

we had rain storms on saturday...

high winds...tornado warnings...lightening...thunder..

this is after it all blew over...beautiful...

hubby and I watching the Ranger game with friends..

we had a great time.....

Baby shower for my brother and sister in law...

I'm getting the best of boy worlds...

a grandson and a new niece is on the way...

they got a lot of nice useful gifts...

It's been a much better weekend this week...

no more shattered dishes or falling cabinets...
