Just a swinging....

sitting on my swing....

this is what I see...

I need to water these plants...

hubby cooked chicken on our little grill...

need to put it all up....

the grass needs to be mowed again...

my sunflowers are starting to fade...

my morning glories give us a little more privacy...

when I'm sitting on the swing...

I notice everything that needs to be done...

then I end of getting up...

and doing...when I should be swinging and relaxing...

I have to really push myself to just sit there and relax..

these guys help....

petting the boys....

talking with the hubby....

the boys have their own blog...

Woo hoo...new shoes.....

hubby and I went bowling...

haven't been since my kids were younger...

see my pretty pink ball....

well it didn't help my score much....

I did get a few strikes...

but a lot of gutter balls too....

look at that form...

that consentration...

it was a lot of fun.....

Wow...started one direction...then it went another...

I'm flying my flag today....

I so much enjoy reading blogs from all over the world...

I love keeping up with family and friends from

all over on facebook....I don't twitter...

but I can e-mail photos of my new grandson

 to every one I know in a matter of seconds....

I can watch videos of my nieces....

send photos over my phone...

keep up with people I haven't seen in years...

pay my bills...order anything you can think of...

but I still enjoy a personal note....or a handwritten card...

even postcards...and looking at photos just picked up from

Walgreens or where ever they are printed....

with all the technology we have...

don't let the art of  handwriting notes...cards...

putting special notes on the back of a photo die...

wow...don't know where all this came from today...

just started typing and this is what you got...

so what tradional things do you hope don't die...

A little patio clean up....and a Question....

on saturday I had a little clean up time on the patio...

it gets to be a mess really quick...

my little rose bush my daughter in law

gave me was getting to much Texas heat...

so I gave it a little shade...

moved my little dog...

my 3 boys kept knocking him over...

guess they thought 3 dogs on the patio is enough...

the heat doesn't seem to bother my little frog...

she just keeps smiling...

moved my front door wreath to the back door....

straightened up the cover on my glider....

gets a mess with the dogs...

trimmed back the jungle...

started filling up the pool....

but it sprung a leak....

hubby said he can repair it....

sure hope so....

we still have a long hot summer....

Windows

are they for looking out of?

are looking into?

I would say more windows are looked out of...

than into....

some people like their windows covered with fancy curtains..

some like shutters....

some like me ...

like sheer curtains that you can see out of...

but others can't see into....

what are your thoughts on windows?

Do you like to open them when the weather is cool??

and let a breeze blow through?

Around the feeder....

this little guy comes to eat every day....

and if the feeder is full of birds..

he just runs them off...

then just dares them to try to take his spot...

he dives into the feeder...

and they take off...

a few of the patient ones hang around....

even a few sparrows will try to land with him...

but he won't share.....

The Fence...

this fence looks like it has worked very hard...

is starting to get worn in spots...

a little mossy in places....

but still working hard to protect it's property...

I understand how the fence feels...

I'm worn in spots...

a little mossy in places...

but I will still stand up and protect my family....
