a little action...

 on our morning walk...we notice some action...

hey didn't your Momma teach you not to play in the street...

 a game of tag...or chase...

and I didn't have my zoom lense with me...

 these guys were having a grand old time...

 little britches and I stopped to watch the action...

we got a good laugh with their antics...

even a mockingbird got in on the act...

chasing one of the squirrels and dive bombing it...

I didn't get a clear photo...

Birds

while out for a walk at FIL's I ran into a mockingbird...

he has a lot of them in his neighborhood...

 In his backyard there are a few teenage blue birds...

they are playing chase....

and hide and seek in the trees....

the were really noisy too....

 a lot of fun too watch....

Webs....

webs are very interesting...

 they way the light hits them...

the details...

the work that must go in to making them...



and then you remember....

they are made by insects....

busy Monday....
but I got a lot accomplished...
some days I feel like a dog chasing my tail...
on the go constantly but never getting any where...
today....I feel like I made it to the gate....

but I have garden envy....

they are from my FIL's garden...

I'm not usually an envious person...

but Hubby and are so sad about our garden...

we think we have found the problem...

not enough nutrition in our soil

so we are working on that....

in the mean time....we are just going to

envy  enjoy FIL's and my Mom's gardens...

and send positive vibes to our ugly wonderful garden....

my Mom said it was 100 degrees on her front porch today...

Graduate....

we went to a graduation last night...

it was at the Meyerson in downtown..

beautiful place...

it was for the Booker T Washington

School of the performing Arts...

it wan't boring....

we got to hear singers...

hear musicians...

see dancers...

see theater students...

and view a slide show...

a refreshing change....

we are so proud of our girl...

she was excepted in to a great

dance program at Sam Houston...

we've known her for 10 years...

she is like our own daughter...

we have watched her grow

from a skinny little girl with glasses...

to a beautiful young lady...

and a beautiful dancer...

she makes our hearts swell...
