Sweet Faces....

look what I found peeking through my FIL's junk inventory...

isn't that a sweet little face...

there were 5 of them and a Momma...

but the Momma and 2 are missing...

there are 3 left...

I was only able to get photos of 2 of them....

the are eating cat food now and drinking water on their own...

this one is very curious...

we may be able to become friends with him/her....

look at those sweet little faces....

wish we could take one...

but our dogs might not be too nice about it...

Blooms....

I have 4 o'clocks blooming...

these photos are the morning after our rainstorms...

the monkey grass has blooms...

I love the little blue blooms on my jew....

these blooms are in my neighbors yard ...

love the flowers in with the greenery...



flowers...weeds...which ever your prefer to call them...

they are still so dainty and pretty...

Why?

we had a little rain this week...

and these popped up all over the place...

 you go to bed one night and there's none...

the next morning they are every where...

now why don't our gardens grow like that....

only weeds and mushrooms grow that fast....

aren't they interesting looking though...

Model....or army moves???

this is a neighborhood squirrel....

it's not used to being in the spotlight...

I'm thinking it might have potential as a model....

or maybe it is just practicing it's army moves....

Walking....talking...soaking in....

I love the smell of these blooms....

watch out for bees though...

looks a little lonely standing there by itself...

little britches and I try to take a walk every day...

these pretty ones were on my neighbors front porch...

walks are so enjoyable when your looking through

a little ones eyes...everything is new and exciting...

we look at the flowers....talk about the colors...

talk to the squirrels....

wave hello to the trees....

stop and watch the flags blowing in the wind...

or just hanging there....

we sing silly songs....pop wheelies with the stroller...

watch the cars..trucks...motorcycles go by..
look for doggies...and kitties...
and soak up our surroundings...
we are getting rain storms here today...
in July we will be proud we did...

the squirrels have been super busy around here today...

I counted 8 visiting at one time....

(my border patrol was asleep)

and boy were they busy...

hey what's going on up there...

it's raining seed....

good thing I have this great tail to keep me covered...

just gives me more too eat...

jackpot a full feeder...

still eating....

love the spring time....

when all the new babies are springing into the world....

animals...flowers...plants.....

with all this going on around us....

how in the world can such horrible things go on also....

they found a little boy in Maine....

dumped on the side of the road...dead...

now they have found the little boy is from my area....

and what is worse.....his Mom confessed to doing it....

it just breaks my heart.....

all her friends and family are shocked by it...

so am I....I don't know them....

but everytime I hear of this happening...

it just makes me want to cry....

I usually try to keep my blog on an upbeat tone....

but today...I just had to post this...

I'm really sad about this.....

I will never understand how someone can hurt a child...
