Drift wood....

X marks the spot....
some drift wood down at the river...


I wonder where it all came from...
and how long it took to get here...


some is more weathered than others....


this one made a great place to sit.....

Driftwood can make some interesting shapes and forms.

Nice shots! I'm not near the shore here, but I love incorporating driftwood in my crafts when I can get my hands on some!

Deb - Hi! You take such neat pictures! I love rust, and old wood, and all that other stuff you like like, too. I like y'all's fishin' pictures. I love to fish - one time with my dad, he caught a great big ole alligator gar. He carries a hammer in the boat and just gives 'em a good whack to kill 'em. I don't know what they're good for. Uh-oh - guess I'll have PETA on me for that one!

That's a nice display of driftwood! It's always interesting to wonder where it came from and how long the water worked on it.
