Guess who got there first big boy boots.......
he also got another haircut...
he's looking more and more like a boy....
not a baby....

Had a cedar wax wing stop by to visit...
once again not real co-operative....
we are getting geared up for another estate sell this weekend...

we could have sold this oil lamp several times...
except it goes to my SIL...
everyone is so mesmerized by it...
adults and children...
It is from the 70's...(which seems like yesterday)
(not over 40 years ago)
I know my kids both loved this lamp....
they would stand up in a chair and watch it for ever...
I'm going to miss this Bronco....
it belonged to my FIL...then it belonged to us...
then it went back to my FIL...
we don't need another Bronco...neither does my BIL...
so it is up for sale...it is a 1969...
I am so surprised by the questions I get on it...
some people seem to think it should be like a brand new one...
come on folks it is over 40....
things happen with age...
rust...bumps...worn seats...
yep I'm talking about the Bronco...
but the same thing happens to us too...
asking price $3500.00 what do you want people?
it's a fixer upper...it runs...it needs work....
okay I'm better now...
when it leaves....I will be truly sad...
it's funny how somethings can go...
without out a care...
other things...are really hard....
I have good memories of this Bronco...
the crazy feral cats were born in it...
atleast I have my photos of it...
I can look at them and smile...
Have you ever had anything that surprisingly made
you sad when it was gone??

I hope the Bronco goes to a good home. I had a little MGB years ago that I really missed after I sold it.

I think it is about change - this has been a past of my life so long, that I feel there is an aching chasm now that it is gone. - I am realizing that my parents are not going to live forever, and that creates all sorts of feelings in me...

yes, my 68 Camaro, love the boots, and we had the same thing when hubby was selling his 76 Jimmy, with 36 inch lifters and tires as tall as my head. same price as yours, he said what do won't for 3500. good luck with your sale. mother wanted one of those lamps so bad when they were popular, but did not have the money for one.

Aw, so bittersweet when they start looking like kids and not babies anymore. My husband has a bronco that looks like that one, needs a lot of work. He hopes to do it sometime before our kids turn 16... :)

That bronco is wonderful! I hope you take lots of pics before it goes. I wish I had photos of all the cars my parents drove in the 60s and 70s and even the awful brown vw rabbit that was my first car to drive in 83. At least I thought it was awful then. I wanted a red camaro like my best friend had!

I know you will sell the Bronco. I had a 1995 red/white before... well, before. Loved it. Wish I still had it. :)

We've had several Broncos. They were all good vehicles.
Love those big boy boots. When my eldest son was 3 and wanted boots, I took him to the store. When the salesman brought out little boots that would fit him, he was devastated. What he really wanted was great big boots like his daddy's!
