when I went to my friends Dad's funeral...
I knew I needed to come back to take photos...
this is a cemetery for the military...
 it is a beautiful location...
I felt honored ...
to be amongst all these folks that had served our country..

people from all walks of live...
serving different branches of the military...

 it was a beautiful day.....
with beautiful scenery....
it was a very calming place...
this is located across the road...
on a lake...it is some kind of electrical plant...

this photo was taken at the park...
located on the river...
one of Roosters favorite places to go...
Hubbies birthday is coming up....
I was trying to decide what to do for him for his special day...
he has been wanting to see his little brother that lives...
in Washington state...so I got him a plane ticket...
he is going to leave on a Tuesday and come back...
on a Saturday...of course two of those days will
be spent traveling...so he will have 3 good days of
visiting time... I will stay back...
to keep everything running smoothly...
he's getting a boys trip....
I don't know who is more excited...
Hubby or my BIL...
who also has a birthday coming up...
they both get a gift...

What a great gift for your hubby, and you are right that it is a gift for both him and his brother.

I was walking in the cemetery my Mom can see out her windows this afternoon. It sure is different from the one you have captured - the tombstones are all different shapes and colours, and the ground is covered with golden leaves...
