I baked cookies for my Dad and filled up

dropped in the lunch sack...punched holes...tied ribbon
added a tag...and your gift is ready...going to do this
for my neighbors...and FIL's neighbors...
This time of year everyone thinks of Children...
but don't forget about Senior citizens...
and people that live alone...and don't have family
coming for Christmas....these little bags...filled
with goodies would be great....we have a tradition
every year for the past 8 or 9 years....I do a Christmas
craft and drop off at a local Nursing home for the patients..
this year I did stockings out of red felt and decorated with lace...
just a little something to add cheer to their rooms....
I'm getting more and more into the Christmas Spirit...

I enjoyed catching up with your posts. Is your new office at home or is it a new work place?
I really enjoyed the stories about the gifts you received as kids and locking the trike in the car! Our first couple of Christmases with our kids were crazy too. Since they were pre-schoolers when we adopted them we went straight into complicated toys, kitchen sets and hot wheel automotive centers. It all had to be put together. I had no idea how long it all took! We were up all night for the first several Christmases because I'm such a procrastinator!
I think it's great that you remember the seniors as well.

Deb, it looks as though you are having a ball, getting ready for Christmas! I love the idea of the cookie sacks! Most seniors do not need stuff, but some home baking, either to savour or to share with guests, is a good idea!!
I am starting to think that Christmas might be welcome here after all!!! After 15 years!
