Photos and ramblings....

Hubby and I took a little road trip on Wednesday
to Corsicanna.....just thought I'd share a few photos
I took.....it was so cold....we had the little snow storm in the
morning....it was nice to be in a nice warm vehicle...
looking out at the cold....Wow...can't believe Christmas
is just around the corner...we're having our Christmas parade
and tree lighting ceremony on Saturday....Sunday a Christmas
show at the dance studio where my daughter teaches (and took
classes since she was 2) Tonight a tap show at the Arts Center....
lots of fun things going on this month....my handsome son
will turn 26 this month.....I've got my Christmas cards done with family photo tucked inside....taking photo today for business to pop in those cards....it seems like the list is never ending....and I have scaled
back this year....our immediate family drew names...so we each only buy one gift this year....I'm not going crazy with the Christmas decor this year...will put up a tree...but not put out all my goodies....
what are some of your traditions that you just can't give up???...
I always do a stocking of goodies for everyone....just can't give that one up......

Sounds like some wonderful Christmas happenings coming up for you! Tomorrow TZ & I will do our Christmas tradition of going to the mall (the only time we go all year), not to shop but just to get Christmas Coffee & walk around looking at the decorations & listening to the Christmas music....I love to find Santa & watch him with the kids. One tradition we won't give up! I'm glad the snow didn't stay long too but it sure is cold this morning in Texas!

Pretty pictures from your drive.
We drew names, too. It's nice to cut down on the materialistic part of Christmas and just enjoy the family gathering.

I really enjoy seeing your pictures. We took a trip in October back to Missouri and came home through New Mexico and one little tiny section of Texas. It was wide open out there and I can really imagine what it must be like when a bad storm comes through-nowhere to hide!!
I had the best childhood anyone could EVER have and there are so many Christmas memories. I will post your questions on my blog and answer a few.

Merry Christmas!-Mary
