hot humid temps are back...

but we will stay below 100...

I have mine dry...

sometimes I squeeze lemon or lime over it..

I just like the taste of the veggie all on their own...

Another nice weekend...

The moon was hanging out amongst the clouds...

it almost blends in...

cooler mornings have made the morning glories bloom again...

I've had a nice weekend...

spent a little time with my sweet grandson...

caught up with old friends...

my Mom is recovering nicely....

Week 2 of Grammie camp...

Grandpa is helping out today....

yep that's what it is....

We have wetness..

falling from the sky...

I think it's RAIN....

it's been a while since I've seen it...

but yep that's what it is .....

it's not going to last long...

but the plants are sure happy about it....

the ones that are left anyway...

In the past year we have had so many people...

from the past...pop back into our lives...

it is funny how that works....

and it has been so much fun...

catching up....remembering old times...

starting new adventures...

to catch up with...these days with the internet...

facebook...my space....it is alot easier...

but every now and then it seems like some

have just fallen off the face of the earth...

I feel foturnate the ones I have been thinking about..

have popped back in....

the sun is coming up this morning...

the clouds are floating like big cotten balls...

so grabbed my camera...

My grandson is 2 months old today...

he gets his 1st shots ...

hope all goes well for him...

School is back in session....

who was your most memorable teacher?

and why???

Mine was Mrs. Shelton...

she was my 2nd grade teacher...

I was really shy....

but she was so sweet and patient...

she made school fun....

she sent me postcards during summer vacation..

from her family vacation...

My hubbie's favorite teacher was a history teacher...

Mr. Killian...everyone wanted to have him for history...

he made learning fun...he would dress up as the people

from history...he would even wear a Toga...

for the Olympics...he had the Olympic games every year

for his class...he is still at the high school...

working in admissions and keeping track of all the

students...he knows all there names..

and where they should be...

So thank you to all the wonderful Teachers...

that pour their hearts...and souls...

into their students....

you truly can make a differance...

in your students lives....

you maybe their  only ray of sunshine each day....

a little re-cap....not a get away vacation...but nice...

my zinnias have now passed on...

so I looked went back a few months ago...

weren't they pretty....

School starts here today....

you can feel the changes..

even though the temperatures haven't...

the poor little flowers have just had enough....

I'm not ready for summer to end....

it is my favorite time of the year...

98 would be nice though...

had a nice weekend...

Friday night went out with friends....

good conversations...one couple just had a new

granddaughter...little cutie pie...got to share photos...

and stories...

Saturday nice ride with the hubby on the motor cycle...

watched my grandson for a little while...

then John Wayne movies with the hubby...

 Taco Bell for dinner....they have margaritas now...

no tequila ...but good...you can add your own...

Sunday  hubby and I did yard work...

man it was hot....

went to see Eat, Love and Pray with my daughter...

then Mexican food for a late lunch/supper...

 watched Fried Green tomatoes with hubby....

we brought hubby food home....

we were there Friday night meeting friends...

there he was doing his job...

he's got a good job here...

Tuesday ramblings of a busy woman...

don't these clouds looks so light and airy...

hard to believe they could as hot is it is...

you would think they would just melt right out of the sky...

I was sitting in line at Taco Bell the other night...

this house is right next door...

love the little balconey....

but wouldn't want to look out at a drive through...

can you imagine looking at this all the time...

the house was built after the Taco Bell...

makes you wonder......

finally got to meet my daughters BFF baby girl...

she is a cutie pie...(one week old)

now I have a little girl to love on too...

I'm her adopted grandma...

all these birds were eating...

then all of a sudden they all flew away...

all but one lone dove....

I watched it...

it was looking around like...

hey where did everyone go??

then I saw it stop suddenly...

it made eye contact with...

the cat....

then it decided to fly away....

I guess that dove didn't get the message....

The weekend went by too fast...

off to another fast paced week...

going to 2 funerals in one week...

sure makes you stop and think..

kind of assess your life....

you know sometimes you just run through life...

just blowing and going...and you really miss out...

at times like these...you re-evaluate your life...

I want to make more of an effort to enjoy life..

to really live life...not just run through it...

I need to make more time for the important things...

stop and smell the roses kind of things...

spend more time with the people I love...

find people I haven't seen in years...

have more fun...enjoy every day...

not just rush through it and mark off my list

of things to do....enjoy the list....

enjoy the days....before a month has passed...

and I don't know what happened to it...

Middle of the week....

Mom is still doing great from the surgery...

not even taking pain meds...she said this pain is nothing...

compared to what she has been feeling for over a year...

my sweet friend is struggling so to deal with the loss of her Mom...

please continue the prayers for her....

our other friend has found peace with the loss of his Mom..

she is now pain free..after 12 year battle with MS...

our business is good....our health is good...

our grandson is growing and developing...

our children have become wonderful adults....

what more could you ask for????

you know...one that makes you say AWWWW....

I was rocking my grandson and giving him a bottle...

I looked over at hubby..he was watching us...

.and he was smiling...

and I could see the love in his eyes...

I felt an AWWWW in my head...

This, that and the other...

yep...still over 100.....

(I know it's a little fuzzy...even my camera feels dizzy)

took this at my Mom's yesterday....

the heat doesn't seem to be effecting it...

some one was throwing this chair away...

so she snatched it up....

you can't sit in it but it makes a great planter...

 and the heat continues...

my father in laws new friend....

it belongs to the neighbors ...

but spends most of it's time at his house...

it gives him something to worry over...

a cardinal stopped by also....

did I mention...
