all these birds were eating...
then all of a sudden they all flew away...
all but one lone dove....
I watched it...
it was looking around like...
hey where did everyone go??
then I saw it stop suddenly...
it made eye contact with...
the cat....
then it decided to fly away....
I guess that dove didn't get the message....
The weekend went by too fast...
off to another fast paced week...

I have a couple of stray cats in my area that try to get my doves! There is a power line above my feeders and the birds will land there first to make sure the area is clear! lol

Glad the kitty didn't pounce before Lonesome dove got away.
That kitty looks like our little assassin, Velvet. I try to warn any stray birds loitering around her! Glad the last one got away!
That kitty is just too cute! Looks like he missed out on a fresh meal.
Funny that one dove didn't see the cat at first. Good thing she finally became observant... before she became lunch!
