maybe I just appreciate the world around me more..

Ooo! I know what you mean about looking around more--especially for photos. Maybe we have learned that simple things are more important, since we are 'of a certain age'!!

That building and courtyard is nice, I really like the courtyard.
In my opinion age has nothing to do with it. Every year we live is a good year. Just think...about all that wisdom that we are gaining as the years go by. Not to mention all the beauty we behold.

48? Geez, you are just a baby. The trick is hanging out nursing homes. You will feel young and spry and absolutely like you visited the fountain of youth!

I'm a woman of a certain age, too... but a different certain, as in about 10 years older! Oops, I probably shouldn't have admitted that.
Blogging is great for developing an eye and noticing details. I find myself being far more observant as I think of how I might present something in a post.
