Changing skies...lot's to look forward too...

changing skies of Texas....

we had summer weather last week...

then the winds came....and dropped the temps...

the weather is more Fall like now...

so much going on....

names have been drawn for Christmas...

we draw names in our immediate family...

(except for Little Britches) he gets Santa...

this year our gifts have to be homemade...

re-gifted...or come from thrift store or yard sale......

it can be a special day for that person....or special event...

it makes it more fun...less commercialized...

makes you put more thought into it....

Birthday party turned out great...

40 people showed up....

Thanksgiving center piece

I found this table runner at a thrift store...

got the scarecrows for .25 each at Family Dollar..

and the leave piece for .75 at Thrift store...

added a few sunflowers...

and a couple of little pumpkins...

added a vase of sunflowers I used  last year.....

I think I have my Thanksgiving center piece....

 my renigade zinnias are blooming...

I don't remember having this color...

 my Dad brought me some cactus from Lockhart...

got to get it in the ground...

 I have had this mum plant for 6 years now...

it comes back every year...

 my four o'clocks have came back....

my marigolds are doing great...

 my yellow 4 o'clocks are blooming...

I even have a few honeysuckles blooming..

we are having such nice Fall weather....

my garden is really enjoying it...

which makes it nice for us too....
