Making good use of her time....

whats a girl to do when she is waiting to dance at a show....
of course floor Angels.....
isn't it great how youngsters just do their own thing...
they don't worry about what others think...
they just do...

to bad when we hit our teenage years and young adult years...
we forget how to just let our hair down and do our thing...
without worrying if someone will judge us...

I mean what better way to make use of our waiting time...
floor Angels....
she's not hurting anyone...she's not causing a disturbance...
she's just having a good time...
it was a fun sight to see....

then when we hit a certain age...
we decide...hey...I'm just me....life is too short to worry about what others think...
these ladies were having a ball...
toes tapping...hips shaking...heads bobbing...
soaking in all the music...and youth around them....
now if we could just figure out how to do this our whole life...
think how much happier we could all be....

What do you think???

You are so right, Deb. The less we worry about what others think the better off we will be.
Great pictures today.

That's the truth! Wouldn't it be nice to have the carefree spirit of a child?

So true! I love seeing people just having joy in simple moments - I did a little myself last week. I was pushing my shopping cart in the parking lot and had a wild hair to "ride" it (where you push it fast and put your feet on the back of it), so I did! Let's vow to make our own version of "floor angels" at least once a week! Thanks so much for sharing this with us,
Patty

WISDOM 101

I too have reached the age [74] when I am free-to-be-me. :-)

You Youngin's.... In those in-between-years.... All you have to do, is DO IT!

And by this, I don't mean to throw caution, kindness or common sense, to the winds. Of course not!

But so much of our life is spent in areas where we are tied-in-knots, just by our own worries of; "But what will they think?" Those are the places to .... Not give a "rat's-patoootie", what *they* think! :-))))))))))

And since you are just beginning Grand-Mother-Hood.... Let me share a secret with you. :-) You will be amazed at the places-you-will-venture, WITH "Little Britches" walking hand in hand with you.

No, not scary places! I mean, like taking a saunter in a lovely area, on a beautiful estate, which is obviously now owned by a college. Not exactly a Ya'-all-come place.

But little Kate and I used to enjoy ourselves there. And no one came out to shooooooooo us away. :-) How could they? A Grandma and her little 'Grand'... walking around, while the "Nana" related the Victorian History of the estate, to her little one. :-)

Nice memory. Thank you for prompting it!

Gentle hugs,
~♥~

And btw, I have popped out of my recent "too-too-cutesy-pooh" kind of a blog look. -chuckle- Back to simplicity, for a bit. :-)

Gentle hugs,

So true. the little girl and the older ladies had the right idea. Why do we get so concerned about what others think in those middle years? If we didn't, life would be a lot more fun.
