Monday the last official day of summer was very warm
here in Texas....and guess what????the rain came back....
we did get to go out to dinner on the motorcycle last night..
it was so nice to be able to go for a ride again....
We have cooler temperatures today....thank goodness

Now that looks like summer- bare feet enjoying the pool! We had our first freeze last night. Definitely not summer here anymore.

What does the sunshine look like? Seriously, we have had less than an hour of sun in the last week it seems. We are one of the lucky states that is flooding right now. It is almost bright outside, but that is only because the clouds are a little thinner than they normally are. Still no sun. We have mushrooms everywhere!! Every lawn is covered whether they are in an affluent neighborhood or not. Yup, I drove around to make sure!! ;0) I am glad the temperatures are declining and I look forward to fall... but I could do with a day with no rain. That doesn't look like it will happen anytime too soon.... :0(

We enjoyed the nice cool weather of northern California while on our vacation but came back to nasty HOT HOT HOT weather. 101 degrees here today.

Glad you got to enjoy some sunshine Deb. We have rain over here. Luckily not as bad as those poor folks in GA.
