Where are all the people???

blooms...
heat...light....

metal....wood....

concrete....

plastic....

Do you ever look around you...and wonder...
at all the elements....where would we be without them??
some are for beauty...some are for comfort...
some just make our lives easier...
It is amazing to me....I have always loved
taking photos...it was usually only of people..
or pets...but since I've started blogging...
I have found that my photos are more than that...
An old friend that I haven't seen in over 20 years..
came back into our lives...we all went out to dinner
one night....she wanted to see my daughter who wasn't
able to come with us...so pulled out my camera...
showed her a few photos...she looked through my
most likely over 200 photos...and she said....
where are all the people??? it made me laugh....
have your photos changed over the years???

Deb--you are amazing with the camera. I love these photos--so simple ordinary things! And yes, where would we be without them!!

Yup! I notice more "things" as Photo Opps now! ,-)

Nice thing is, "things" don't mind my putting them up on my blog. Family "people" do. So......... Maybe that's one reason for my change of focus.

You are right. With the kids and grandkids living in different states, my pictures seem to be of things or the dog :)

My pictures aren't usually of people....except granddaughter! I think there is skill involved with getting good ones of people and I haven't developed that!!!! Still like birds, landscapes, skies, etc.
Your pictures are all so great!

That is too funny, Deb! Where are all the people... she must not be a blogger (yet)!! LOL! Your photos are fabulous!

Interesting that we can find so many things in our lives to photograph.
Blogging has made me take a lot more pictures of scenery, wildlife, and wildflowers.

Love your photos - and I am guilty of the same thing too. Where are all the peeps? I have a photo of some old junk cars on my blog heading...but the peeps are there. They are just ghosts of a time past.

Oh I know this syndrome. My mum used to comment that when I went anywhere exciting like California, all I came back with were photos of clouds. So not so much has changed there!
