Today is the 1st day of spring....
my bird feeder is full of food....
and birds...
there are nests in the trees...
the doves are cooing (is that a word?)
the wind is blowing....
we've had quite a winter here in Texas..
now we are ready for spring....
trees are blooming...
weeds are popping up...
Happy 1st day of Spring....

We're getting quite the spring welcome this morning.... high winds and snow!! But I really can't complain, we've had such a mild winter. This will all melt off tomorrow. Hopefully.
I'll have to bundle up and get outside later to snap some pics. Um, yeah. Some first day of Spring pics. LOL
Love your bird pics. Our meadowlarks have been extremely plentiful these last few months, and this past week has been no exception... there are lots of them in the horse's paddocks, going through those fresh piles of poo for tidbits of grain. :)

Spring won't be here for us in our New Mexico mountains officially for another month or two. Winter has thrown us a doozy this year and keeps holding on. Snow yesterday and today. bleh!

Yay for Spring! Of course, I am convinced we will get another 4 or 5 inches of snow before winter actually leaves, but this is only March.
