G'mornin'.... Fair Park will always be a magical place to me. I was born in Dallas and lived there until my parents divorced and I was 7. My mama and I moved far away from my daddy..but each summer until I was nearly grown, I went to Dallas and spent a week with him. He would always go over and pick up my cousin that was a year younger. She would stay the whole week...Dad took us to Fair Park every single night. We rode all the rides, played all the games, skated in the skating rink there..the aquarium was a favorite. Now, just the words FAIR PARK seems bittersweet...I miss my dad (he has been gone for 50 years now but...I do still miss him) but the memories of my time with him are so sweet. I love water shows. There's one in downtown Houston too :)
I bet people would love to jump in those fountains when it's hot out. It looks like it puts on a neat show!
