I looked out my window and saw this....
I couldn't tell if she was hurt....
or what....so went out for a closer view...
she still layed there...
she was breathing....
I talked to her...
no signs of trauma...
then she jumped up...
ran up in the tree and started barking at me and the dogs...
guess she was taking a break from her babies...
maybe some time of Squirell Yoga....

Cute! I have a couple of squirrels in my backyard but they would in no way let me get close!
I love watching the squirrels, they are so amusing!
How cute! My dad has a few squirrels that lay on top of a big flat stone in his yard with all 4 legs stretched out to the sides. We wonder why they do that too. It must be relaxing for them. We thought they might be trying to cool off but the weather is not very warm yet. His squirrels also love to play with twigs and small branches that have fallen from trees. They roll all around on the grass holding the twig in their arms.
I love how you came up with Squirrel Yoga!! That is such a fun title for this little squirrel's activities!!
Isn't she cute. I say "she" because it looks like she has possibly been suckling babies.
hahahaha yeah, I'd say she was resting. Those babies will take it out of you! She's so cute :)
Cute post! Yep, she sure looks like she's got babies. I'm certain she was resting, too. You need a bubble comment above her saying "Whew!"
-chuckle- Poor Mama squirrel! She was resting and you interrupted her. No wonder she hollered at you! -giggles-
Funny squirrel. He looks like maybe you are right. Squirrel yoga. Break from the babies? Reckon they were fighting and making too much noise?
The squirrel is a gymnist... how did you capture that picture? Fantastic.

Cute!! I suppose she was resting and enjoying the fresh air and sunshine after months of hibernation! We don't get squirrels here in Johannesburg - at least I don't think so - I've never seen one here or heard of them living here.
how funny!
Funnee! These little guys are so cute. They can move so fast though, I have a hard time getting a picture when I see one of the little buggers!
Aren't they funny?
yeah, sometimes nursing moms just have to get out of the squirrel hole and breathe! when i was a new mom i barked at people too! lol.
Adorable photo!

That is so funny! I actually felt a lot like that earlier...worn out and barely hangin' on!
