soft shelled turtle..
I caught him a few weeks ago...
kinda creepy looking
on the river...
so peaceful...
unfortunately haven't been down to the river
in over a week....seems like life gets in the way sometimes...
but have been able to enjoy my grandson....
and spend time with friends and family....
My Mom goes in for major surgery on Monday...
for her right arm....she has been battling for over a year..
finally a Dr. listened to her....she has major
carpel tunnel...it extends to her elbow...
she will not be able to use her arm for 2 weeks for sure...
maybe longer..then extensive therapy on her hand...
hoping she will be able to get full use again...
please keep her in your prayers...
I know your prayers must have touched the Dr....
to make him listen....
You....my blogging buddies...are the best...
Thank you.....

That turtle certainly does look creepy - I think it's the eyes that do it! Best wishes to your Mum for her operation next week. A x

Umm, Deb, that's a river? Oh, yeah, you are in Tx and there is no rain. Never mind! ;0)
Your mom will feel great after surgery. Chin up kiddo. She'll be fine.
In my prayers - Denise
I've never seen a softshell turtle. It does look weird.
Glad the docs finally listened to your mom. Sure hope the surgery helps her and that she gets better quickly.
Don't think I have ever seen a softshell either.....
Wishing the best for your Mom! Hope she feels 100% better to get this problem taken care of!!
I bet your Mom will feel so much better after the surgery. I had carpel tunnel surgery 22 years ago in October and I have had no problems since. I wish your Mom the same success!
Have never seen a turtle like this. How wonderful you have time with the little one! Will keep your mother and her doctor as well as you in my thoughts and prayers!
That is one strange looking turtle. I have never seen one like it before. I hope your Mom comes safely through her surgery and her arm finally begins to heal.
I'll be keeping her in my prayers Deb. I'm glad some doc finally wised up.
Weird turtle! I've never seen one like that. Your mother's hand and arm will feel immediately better after the surgery. I had that done on both of mine a few years back and have had no trouble since. Have a great weekend!
Good wishes & healing thoughts for your Mom.
Soooooooo glad your Mom's problem will finally be addressed!!!!!!! -El yucko- to all she's had to go through. Best wishes to and for her!!!
Creepy turtle. Cool, too!
Prayers for your Mom's surgery.
