The View

view from my bedroom window...
I love looking out the window and seeing my flowers...
and my rusty old glider...
found the new cover for 1.00 at the thrift store...
not a fall color...but more durable then my last cover...

I am thankful I have people around me that let me be me...

What is your favorite thing about Thanksgiving?
I enjoy setting the table...
and visiting with everyone...
we could have hot dogs and it would still be great..
if the table was set nice...
and the people I love were around me....

Good Morning Deb! I'd love to have a cheery spot like that to look out at each morning. I bet it's spectacular when all the morning glories are open.

I think the traditions are my favorite things about all the holidays. Having family around, getting caught up with everyone, and watching the kis play with cousins they don't see often. When we get all the women in my family together there tends to be a lot of side splitting laughter!

I read back a few posts to get caught up. Happy Belated Birthday to your mom, the photos were great!
Hugs,
Dawn

Pretty bedroom view.

I like mine too, the one which looks out on the line of old fir and maple trees, just beside the east of our house. Especially when the autumn leaves are most beautiful.

Which there was a little bit less of this year, but... I like the feeling of being in a tree house, all year long. :-)

This was good for me to read, since I have been stressing some about how I am going to set the table for 20+ people for Thanksgiving. If I have a positive attitude, I know it will all go well.

Love the great food, and it's my one time of the year to feast on cranberry sauce! :)

Those mums are a beautiful color and shape! Thanks for sharing your view with us!

I have to agree...the food & the good company of family & friends does it for me, too!

I think just being around family.

Love your views!

My favorite thing about Thanksgiving is that you get together with family but you don't have to worry about buying gifts!

I would say there's no pressure, but I'm having it at my house this year and so far there are about 50 people on the list!!!

My favorite is getting together with family. Oh also the turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy! Yum Yum!

Your garden is looking lovely.
Thanksgiving is family time to me. Over the years, we've put less emphasis on lots of food, and more emphasis on enjoying the company.
