The Irving Symphony Orchestra....

Saturday night we went to see the Irving Symphony Orchestra
led by Hector Guzman....
we took 2 couples with us...
one had never been to a symphony before...
it was a Hollywood holiday show....
they showed scenes from some famous Christmas movies...
Frosty the snow man....
then they played a song from the movie....
 Rudolf the red nosed reindeer...
 the Grinch....
White Christmas (had to watch it last night)
Charlie Brown...
this was always my brothers favorite...

It was such a nice performance...
and the crowd ranged from young children....
to let's just say....children that have been around 80 years are so...
It really gave us the Christmas spirit...
and reminded me of movies I haven't seen in a while....
Can you hear the music in your head?
I hope so....
Oh and I bought Little Britches the Chipmunk Christmas CD....
can't wait to let him listen....

What a wonderful way to hear those Christmas songs and to be filled with the spirit of the season.

That sounds like fun! Especially here in Utah where winters are freezing I like getting into the Christmas spirit, gives me something to enjoy about winter. My family always sings one of the Chipmunk songs as a Christmas carol on Christmas eve.
