Our Christmas ornament making party...

 of course there was food....

the girls went to work making bead wreaths...
and angels....
 My Mom and daughter...
making sheet music ornaments...
 we filled them with candy....
to take to a local nursing home...
it is our family tradition....
the girls are hard a work...
lettting their creative juices flow...
we even get a Marine in on the action...
 these are our dance girls...
we've known them all for 9 years...
they are family now...

these are candles I found at Dollar Tree..
$1.00 each....they are battery operated...

It was a wonderful day....
love having all my girls around....
we sure missed the one's that couldn't make it....

Oh what a great idea - those flameless candles dolled up with your sheet music and doo-dads! Perfect for a nursing home as it lends all the beauty without the risk. God bless you! What a wonderful thing to do with all your girls (and a Marine). :)

Hi Deb! Thanks for your visit!

Aww, I love what your girls are doing here with the gifts for the nursing home! I used to do that when I was young and I know my kids have done those things, too. I love those sheet music ornaments and the candles! What great ideas - I know the residents will love them - they always love for somebody just to give them a little attention. Merry Christmas!!!

Great idea with using music sheets as a base. I love the candles especially. I'm sure the nursing home residents will be delighted.

Looks like a lovely day I had to make my decoration all alone :-(
but the chocolate involved helped :-) I usually visit your Doggy blog and I have been missing your crafty bits. Now following this blog too, Happy holidays to you and yours.
