Honeysuckles....

The honeysuckles are starting to bloom...
the bees will be buzzing around soon....

Spring is now official....
our okra is coming up....
I have flowers coming up from the seeds I planted...
it is so funny my hubby has never enjoyed gardening..
this year he is all in to it...
He is now officially Farmer hubby...
we took FIL to get plants for his veggie garden...
hubby added more to ours....
he's getting the soil ready....
we got the tomatoes....onions...and peppers planted...
this week everything else will go in....
now FIL has a veggie garden...
we have a veggie garden...
my Mom has a veggie garden...
we should all be healthier by fall....

Do you like to garden???
veggies or flowers????

I'm jealous. Our lot here in Plano is too small for a garden. I'm hoping when we move to east Tennessee I can have one there. sigh.

How wonderful to have a vegetable garden and how great to have your husband help with all the work!

No, to the vegetable garden and yes, to the flower garden!

Nice pictures of the honeysuckle. I have seen bees around so I am sure the honeysuckle is coming out around here too. I can't have it in my yard since I am allergic to it but I love it. Now that I am older and our ground is not fit for gardening veggies I stick to the flowers. Hugs

(love the flag in your header photo too!)

no gardening for me. i have lantana that comes up on its own every year, and i keep two pots that i'll go buy something to put in each year and that's it.

I love honeysuckle! It reminds me of when I was a kid.

If I had a bigger yard I would have a big veggie garden. I have a few vegetable plants in posts and lots of flowers.

OK...

Now I think I'm just gonna' go in the corner and cry.

I have heavy snow falling, outside my window.

I love the scent of honeysuckle. I can almost smell yours.
I love to see other people's gardens, but I'm not much of a gardener. We always have so much else going on that our gardens always end up neglected.

I CANNOT believe you already have HONEYSUCKLE blooms!!!!! My bushes are thriving but no flowers yet! I got ONE daffodil....dianthus are up and have been all winter....some pansies made it through the ice. BUT I long for honeysuckle!! My largest bush is supported on two metal trellis' I bought at Big Lots last year. That bush was planted by the birds and I love it dearly! Finally started getting blooms on it last year. I am going out in the front yard to check for a flower right now! (even though there were none yesterday Saturday afternoon.)

Aaaahhhhh...lovely.
I am dreaming of the day I can work in my gardens. I like both kinds. All kinds! Maybe it's the sunshine and warm ground I like....

Isn't it wonderful that spring is here! I am looking forward to planting lots of flowers and a few tomato and pepper plants.

Fantastic shots of the honeysuckles. We still have about six weeks before real gardening begins. We garden veggies and we are lucky enough to have fruit trees.
