In no certain order


some of my Iris' are blooming....

the wind was blowing quite a bit when I was photographing them...


when the Iris' bloom....it feels like spring to me...
all my Iris' came from my hubbies grandmother and my Mamaw...
they have been passed on for several generations...

lots of buds just waiting to open....



so far only one purple bloom...


I love the purple....
I love Iris'....one of my top 5 flowers...

  1. sunflowers
  2. iris'
  3. marigolds
  4. zinnias
  5. mums

my Dad brought my ladybug bicycle to me yesterday...
she is so cool...can't wait to take a little trip on her...




little britches loves the horn....



the ladybugs will keep me smiling.....
when my legs are screaming stop....
lol...

Your bike is beautiful--I even noticed lady bugs on the handle grips, I think!

Iris' are the flower I most remember of the house where I grew up. They grew all along one side of the house.

Pretty flowers! Both my grandmothers loved flowers but one had a great garden of many flowers. Iris' were a plenty.
My top 5 are callas, roses, tiger lilies, mums, and pink and white starburst.

I love it when you're driving along a country road and irises and daffodils and lilies are sprouting there as a reminder of where an old homestead used to be. Makes me a bit melancholy and in awe of their "stick-to-it-iveness". :)

Beautiful iris blooms. I have a few white ones blooming but no purple yet. Top five...lilies, geraniums, petunias, mums and begonias. Hugs

You have irises blooming already! Not fair!! We are still getting rid of snow, and not holding our breath, because we will get at least one more snowstorm...
