These little buggers fly under the radar. We see them all the time, but usually our attention is focused on the bigger and flashier birds. Nice shots of some old friends!

Very nice bird shots. Sparrows once were our most populated species but the finches are way ahead of them now. I love sparrows too, but then I love all birds. Hugs

Love the sparrows! Reminds me of the Bible verse that says we are of more value than many sparrows. I have LOTS of cardinals, too, watch them out my kitchen window everyday. Great pictures, Deb! Have a great week.

I don't think sparrows get much P.R. ,-) Other birds are flashier and etc. Poor little sparrows, just kind of small and brown.

But they are sweet!

Thank you for calling our attention to them!!! :-)

The sparrows are like the bread and butter of a bird feeder. We can always count on them to show up and bring a smile.
It's the rare visitors to our bird feeder that add the bit of flavor, like marmalade on toast.
