Swans.....

Fun day in Big D..

Hubby and I decided to head into Dallas for the day....

we stopped and had breakfast at Mom & Daughters Diner...

I didn't get any photos of breakfast...

to busy eating I guess....

then we were back on the road...

there is always traffic in Dallas....

we reach our destination....

Fair Park....there is a lot to do here...

we went to the Science place 1st...

a young lady gave us a couple of free tickets...

one free pass to the IMAX....

one free pass to the planetarium...

We Saw Dolphins at the IMAX...

then Texas skies at the planetarium..

Dolphins was excellent....

the Texas show was informative.

we stopped for snowcones...

did a little people watching.....

hubby turned me loose on the nature at Fair Park.....

of course you know I took a ton of photos....

I will be sharing more with you...

so get ready....

He was a good sport to hang out....

while I snapped at everything in sight...

I treated him to Lunch on the way home...



Howdy from hot Texas....

It was a long day today....

I was up at 5:00 am doing paper work....

shut down the office at 7:00 pm.....

I think I made a tiny dent....

(no we didn't get any rain....)

it's that time of year for us....

even though I complain about the heat...

it is good for our business....

tomorrow will be a repeat day....

atleast it is Friday....

going to meet old friends for happy hour...

something to look forward to after a hard day...

I love having little britches with me every day....

it makes the day better for sure...

his little smiling face....

watching him grow...

watching him learn....

definately worth the tiredness I feel at the end of the day...

I'm definately not....

but I love shoes....

especially sandals and boots...

they don't have to be name brand..

or designer....I don't like to spend alot on them....

recently I found 4 pairs of shoes for $12...

at a local thrift store....the were all like brand new..

I felt like I hit the jackpot....

what was your last jackpot buy??

but they were sure pretty to look at....

I think I'm more of a salty than sweet...

I like crunchy.....love popcorn....

with a big ole dill pickle....

a green apple....with a little peanut butter or cheese...

looking for some moisture.....

they have to work a lot harder to find it.....

2 more weeks and my daughter will be home...

we are looking forward to it....

she is sure having a great time..

working hard...not able to keep up

with her blog like she wanted to...

I believe it was 85 this morning at 6:00am...

the kitties are getting bigger....

and braver.....we still can't pet them....

but they will come up to FIL'S caregiver....
