The Bridal Shower

The bridal shower was fun....
even though the weather was sooo cold...
and we woke up to snow....
we had good food....
her colors are gold and white...
so got to bring out my milkware...
we played games...
the price is right...guess if the price is higher or lower..
the spice game...guess the spice by sniffing..
a little hard as several has stuffed up noses...
we played purse scavenger hunt....
the bride to be...cking off her list...
everyone went with the kitchen idea...
now she needs to learn to cook....
after the party I took out the gold..
now I have a spring bouquet...

the wedding invitation is in Spanish...
so pretty...
one of the table decorations...
just pulled out all my gold and white...
re-used from my daughter in laws bridal shower last year...
the bride to be's favorites...
strawberry cupcakes and chocolate chip cookies...
tied gold and white ribbons everywhere...
so glad I hang on to everything....you never know...
when it will come in handy...
thank you for all the well wishes to our sweet couple...
and this is what it looked like outside...
so glad I hadn't planned a patio party....

I'm back.....and I have a giveaway....

Last week I was hip deep in spring cleaning..
and getting ready for a bridal shower...
decided it was time for another giveaway...
this is open to my followers only...
not asking anyone to follow that doesn't want to...
the last contest I had was open to anyone...
and I never received confirmation from several
of them that they did indeed get my photo...
I'm not saying I need a thankyou....or big hooplaaa...
just an acknowlegement that it was received...
and I know all my sweet blogging buddies will let me know...
you know how us Mom's worry if everyone doesn't arrive
where they are suppose to....so I'm sure you are ready to
see what the prizes are......

Happy Spring
