Only in Texas- Fancy painted outhouses

My uncle sent me an email today with painted outhouses.....these are my favorite....
they are from the Thunderbox Road art exhibit and painted by Hill Country artists....they will be auctioned off for charity after they are taken off display....I mean who but Texans would paint their outhouses so fancy????? Which one is your favorite????

Those are awesome. My favorite was the one with the horses.

Those are great outhouses. I shot some unusual ones in Alaska recently, but these Texans take the cake!

Hi Deb, yep, only in Texas! How cute is that though to have them painted. I have one in my yard that I use to store my pond equipment in it!

Ladybug--thank you for looking at my tiles! A Colorful World is my main blog, but I was happy to see you checked out my other ones too, and really appreciate your kind comments about my art! Are you in the Hill Country? It's a lovely area. As you could see from my post on Festival Hill from months ago, we were east of Austin. Come to Virginia some time....maybe we can meet somewhere! Thanks for visiting me...I'll be back to check on you, too!

I like the underwater outhouse--the implications are just too funny! :-)

I may have to bid on that outhouse with the horses - just too stinkin' cool. Thanks for following on to my blog, Deb - I'm so glad you did, because now I've found yours!

OMG - to funny!

I grew up on a farm and for years (to my dismay) we used an outhouse (my parents were building our home and the bathroom just never seemed a priority to them!). I don't think I would have minded so much if they had been this cool!!!
