Sunday family dinner

I was cooking Sunday dinner and decided I need Spring flowers
well I looked at the grocery store...too high and not what I was
looking for....so I thought wild flowers....well I drove around till
I found some that I could safely get to with out getting run
over or invading someone's property.....
When I pulled up the horse was watching me..."What is she up to?"
When I took the picture is went back to eating..

There was just tons and tons of these beautiful flowers...

My sweet daughter in law to be brought me
this pretty little rose bush

I picked the Iris' and added a little rosemary for smell

I made this little arrangement for daughter in law to be

I made this one for my Mom

And this is mine.... isn't it purty.....

Very purty! Flowers make a dinner table feel extra special. It's so nice that you had your whole family for Sunday dinner. It is a tradition in my family that was handed down to me when my grandmother passed away in 2002. It skipped a generation because my mother hates to cook:)

How sweet of you to make one for your future DIL and one for your Mom, too! 'Free' flowers are the best kind. Are those gorgeous irises from your garden?

Very pretty yellow flowers! Wild flowers make lovely arrangements - usually don't smell so nice but they're pretty! Do you live in Dallas? My niece and family moved there a few years ago .. far away from all of us here in SA!! But they seem to be loving it.
