Before
After...

this is what's left..

got up at 4:30 this morning to go watch the Texas Stadium Implosion...
we scoped out locations on the motorcycle yesterday...
found the perfect spot that we could get to by truck...
in a matter of seconds it was just rubble....

Isn't it amazing how quickly these things come down. If you think about all the time and effort went into putting it UP and even the time it took to wire all the explosives and in a matter of seconds, it's all gone. It's exciting and sad at the same time. Do you know what is going up in it's place?
Have a great week Deb!

Wow what a post. I was wondering if my son got to watch this since he lives in Irving.
Thanks for sharing it with us. Just amazing isn't it.

Oh, gosh, I forgot all about the implosion! I'll have to google it, I'm sure it'll be on the internet.

Crazy how all the anticipation happens beforehand to see the destruction, but then it's over in a few seconds. And then there is just that empty feeling and let-down afterwards. :(
