Texas stadium....will be no more...
graduations....it was over 100 degrees in there the night I graduated..
football games...concerts...moto cross races....
monster truck races...concerts...American Idol tryouts...
girl scout sleepovers...lot's of memories....
drive in movies...
a Irving staple...gone...

When is it going?
It's always sad when a familiar place vanishes.
My husband got to help up in the box there during games for several years! It's sad, isn't it?
It's going to be so strange to drive past and not see that icon any more! Kathy
we dislike seeing *landmarks* get torn down...i guess it's called progress by some, but it's still sad.
when is this happening?? I went to so many games there when I was a kid :( I had NO idea!!

It is sad indeed to see familiar landmarks disappear, especially when you have so many memories of it.
A piece of history that was shared by many familes and generations.....will just vanish. How sad.
