Interesting sights in LA
our hotel was right down the street from the Hollywood Bowl...
we didn't know Paul McCartney was going to be there...
we hadn't booked a hotel before we left...
we wanted to scope out the area...
well.....with Paul there...they were all booked...
we got lucky and found a room at the Best Western...
it was clean...not to expensive...
and centrally located...
nothing like flying by the seat of your pants....
not sure what this is...but thought it was interesting...

I've lived in SoCal all my life and I see those plants (in your last photo) all the time, and I don't even know what they are.
I once visited Twentynine Palms and fell in love with the area and especially Joshua Tree. I would love to visit Hollywood. I like "flying by the seat of my pants" but my husband doesn't! I love an adventure.
LA is definitely interesting.
It's kind of funny. I don't live that far from LA (I'm south of it in Long Beach) but haven't been up there in a very long time. Thanks for sharing the photos of LA. Now, I feel like I'm on vacation with you!
