the 3rd pic is my favorite but they're all pretty Deb :)
These are just gorgeous, we have some that grow in a few places around the house, they were here when we bought the place back in 1986, can I take them with me when I move?

Love them!!
I love heirloom plants, too. Got some ajuga from my daughter Brin at Freeman House before she moved. It bloomed the prettiest purple spires two weeks ago. I also have some English ivy from the post office's ivy bed. I did ask before I unearthed some ivy. My purple irises are bloomed out and beautiful, too. And the purple verbena, too. Just dawned on me how much purple I have.
Love the banks of wild flowers.
I LOVE old fashioned Iris!

The Iris is one of my favorite flowers, and of course, purple is my (current)favorite color!
I have created french beaded Iris many times--it's also one of my favorite flowers to make!
Thanks for sharing your nice photos.
I love my purple iris too, but it has already bloomed for the year and now I have to wait until next spring to see it again.
Pass alongs are my favorites, they always keep the person who shared them with me close to my heart! Probably at least half, closer to 3/4 of my garden is filled with pass alongs.
I love heirloom plants too! I have a houseplant that my Aunt gave to my Great Grandmother years ago and when she went to assisted living my Aunt got the plant back and I asked for a start off of it. Your iris is beautiful, I am sure it is pure pleasure when it appears each Spring!
