this little guy comes to eat every day....
and if the feeder is full of birds..
he just runs them off...
then just dares them to try to take his spot...
he dives into the feeder...
and they take off...
a few of the patient ones hang around....
even a few sparrows will try to land with him...
but he won't share.....

Interesting to see what pops up around the house. We have a squirrel, a cat that has adopted us, and plenty of "squash: bugs! HA
We had some friends who had a bird feeder in their front yard, and it was actually more a "squirrel" feeder than anything :)

I just started feeding the birds this summer and Blue Jays feed at the feeder every day. Now that the sqirrel has found it he eats all the seed I put out!! Oh ! but he is a cutie to watch!

He's a greedy little squirrel, but your dove appears to have plenty of patience. I'll bet the dove gets some seed, too.
