I pulled out a container full of my son and daughters toys...
Hotrod had a blast with them all....
he doesn't realize now how old or special these toys are...
but he will when he gets older...
because his memories will be attached to them also...
I don't know who was more excited...
Hotrod or my daughter...
she was having so many good memories of each and every one...
he loves to wear his Pawpaw's helmet...
he said I'm Lightning McQueen....
he has become quite the little water baby this summer...
the "New" toys as he calls them got to take a dip too...
I'm sure they enjoyed it since them temp outside was 106...
(there I go again with the weather)
snack time....water always makes you hungry....
there's nothing better to cool off with...
than a lime sugar free popcicle...
nothing better for an Oma...
than a Hotrod covered in lime popcicle...
full of hugs and kisses...

Awwwww... Bringing out the old toys. Precious.
Sorry you have to fiddle, to see my new blog size. :-(
Question... You and his Mom give him food with make-believe-sugar, I take it? Here, we are wary... Since husband had a very bad neurological effect, from it. So now, we never even bring it home.
But I don't suppose all people get all the possible side-effects, etc.
Gentle hugs,
"Auntie"
too cute. :)
I do so love those baby feet!!
now i know why Ginger was licking those sweet and sticky toes.... what fun with the old toys...
Looks like the perfect way to spend a hot afternoon!
I have to admit that I have always had trouble throwing things away...and every toy my daughter played with was saved. Of course, she encouraged me to get rid of some of the things that weren't really special, but other things have made nice surprise gifts for our grandson to play with. Not the Strawberry Shortcake dolls and My Little Ponies....they are in a box! :-) Isn't it wonderful to get to share the toys once again with your child's child!
