Sad news

I have sad news to share with you...
and it is no April fools joke either....

I dropped my camera today with the lens out ....on concrete....

needless to say I can't take pictures with it....

I'm so sad...I take it every where with me...

thankgoodness I have a lot of photos to post until I get a new camera...

my husband said I could get a better one....

but I will miss my camera (it has been to New York, Wyoming, and even to Costa Rica)....

rest in peace my friend....

That is such a shame. I am like you and take my camera everywhere I go. Take a deep breath and take your hubby up on his offer to upgrade. You will be glad you did.

Sorry I couldn't attend the funeral.

Hi Deb,
Sorry about your camera. Mine has become my best friend. If I was to lose it I would be lost. When my husband asked if he could borrow it one day I stood there just looking at him with this horrified expression on my face and he just said "never mind". I gave in and let him use it but all the way out the door I kept saying "now be careful, it's very delicate" or "don't push any buttons that I haven't shown you how to use" among other warnings. Have fun camera shopping!

I'm so sorry about your camera. I take mine every where too. I hope you either get it fixed or get a new one soon.

Sad this is not a joke, when my daughter was having baby number 2, my son's came later and brought me the camera, BUT for some reason it looked like some one smooshed it! (they still aren't talking) Hubby surprised me with a new one, and it is love. May you NEW friend suit you well:)

I am so sorry for your loss. I know how attached I get to things. I hate buying new ones... replacement sounds so cold. We will keep you in our thoughts during this difficult time...;)
