Hope it was nothing serious. Seeing smoke always alarms me. Even if it's not in the direction of home, I always wonder "did I turn off the burner/curling iron/whatever?"
Aunt Amelia...that's what I should get my father in law for his birthday...he loves knowing what's going on with the neighbors....of course...he usually adds a little flair to the stories....LOL...

i'd guess a pretty good sized fire. a lot of farmers used to burn their fields and that made a scary sight, but i don't see that much anymore.
