It was the end of the day on Sunday...
the sun was headed toward sunset...
and I noticed the shadows on our building...
these were not taken in Sepia...but almost look
like they are....I thought they were very interesting....
kind of the still of the day....before it turned dark....

So love it!
Great shots!
I sooooooo love that time of day! Just love it! The light is almost magical. There is a kind of a "golden-ness" about it then. The greens of grass and leaves, turn almost burnished-by-gold or something.
I read the French call it "Painter's Light." One famous [was it Impressionist?] painting of little girls holding Chinese lanterns, was painted only at that short span of time... That perfect evening time... Day after day after day. ,-)
It was on tour, and we were lucky enough to see it. Funny thing was!!! I'd see it in prints and magazines and etc., for so long... And was used to how the colors showed up, in those mediums... That I didn't like the read thing, as much. I know!!! That-is-terrible of me! I know! But I remember it happening. -le sigh-
Oooops, obviously I wrote that line wrong.---->"That I didn't like the read thing, as much."
It should have said "the real thing."
Great eye for catching those photos, Deb!
Oooh it does look sepia. You caught the perfect light! Nicely done!
They really do look Sepia-toned. Very nice, as usual!
How neat Deb! I hope you had a good week and that you have a nice weekend and Memorial Day!
Even the little bird seems to have stopped feeding to enjoy the still time of the evening. Lovely shots of the shadows.
Love all the shadows. There is something so peaceful about dusk, it's so magical. Have a fabulous Memorial Day weekend!
