my little frog waiting to hop....
the rain got my little bunny muddy...
she doesn't seem to mind though...
my wreath is nice and weathered.....
a little rain left over on my sunflower...
Just sharing a few things from around the yard...
my plants are loving this humid weather....
me...not so much...I think I'm sweating more...
than with the 100 degree days.....
so what's your favorite way to cool down in the summer???

I think we will possibly get more rain. That will cool us down. Yippee....
I have a few frogs hanging around my yard too!
Nothing better than ice cold water for this girl on a hot day!
Swimming! I've always loved being in the water. My mom had me swimming before I could walk. Love the sunflower photo, it's been years since we've grown any. I'd love to do it again.
Thanks for the sweet card and postcard!
I love the little garden friends peeking thru the plants.
Our pool comes in handy for cooling down but as the summer goes on the water gets so warm its hardly refreshing.

Me... Humidity... Not so much either. -le sigh-
Cool down? Sit in my den [where I am now] with small window A/C unit. Yes, my computer is in here. But I still can't sit long at it, without back hurting. -bleahhhh-
Oh and when near running water, run cold water on inside of my wrist, where the veins are. It is cooling.
I remember reading that, said by one of the "social mavens" who come to our city, in Aug. And they go to the track and to many charity events, held here then. [Lots of these things are held out of doors, so no indoor A/C] When asked how she cools off, Mary Lou Whitiney said she runs cold water on her wrists. And I always remember that. :-)
Hey there! Thanks for your visit, Deb! I've enjoyed catching up this morning. And am so envious of your new grandson. I want one, too! Wish my two sons would get married!
Can you tell me what those berries are called? I can't remember, but we have some of those messy things, too. I can never recall what they are.
Your zinnias look pretty and healthy. I bought some to set out this year, but they look terrible. I think I must have gotten some sick ones...
When I was growing up we lived near a very large river and my favorite way to cool off was to go out in the boat and jump off into the water.
Now, I don't live near water and I don't have a boat. So I hide indoors and hope for the best.
My yard is quiet now in the heat and humidity. We don't have too much of it here usually but have had several days now and more predicted. Just stay inside and take it easy like the dog does!
Love your lawn critters. I have a frog, too. I used to have bunny, but she broke a couple of years ago. I miss her.
I wish I could send my hot weather back to Texas! The only way I can cool off is to lie in bed with the AC going full blast. It's the only room with an A/C.
We're fortunate to have the mountains nearby for cooler weather.
And watering the yard usually gets me wet enough to get cool, like it or not!
