I've always loved this song...
finally getting rain this weekend made me think of it...

I planted the seeds for this Loofah gourd this spring...
nothing all summer....

there was a small plant...
then all of a sudden in the last month...
it woke up....
started growing...
now it has gourds....

these rain drops make me think of diamonds...
believe me the rain drops are more precious...
than diamonds here in Texas...

the morning glories were water logged...
but this morning...
they were standing tall and proud...
amazing what a little water will do....
Go Rangers....
won game 2....

One of my favorite songs AND favorite movies!
I loved the rain! Hope to get out and pull weeds tomorrow before the ground hardens up again!

Glad you are getting the much needed rain! Have you ever grown loofah before?

That song is the first one I used as a little girl for my floor routine in gymnastics. Oh what memories. Leave the loofah until the frost gets it or it feels really light.

Wasn't that a cool scene from a old movie! The rain photos look so refreshing! I think I am thirsty now.

Glad you got some rain ... definitely more valuable than diamonds right now in Texas!
