Joy

Little Britches....
some one commented that he is the faceless boy...
I don't share his face...for privacy...

we have so much fun with him...
he loves being outside....
exploring.....learning....

my daughter made a comment the other day...
she said he will probably think he grew up in a musical...
because we break into song all the time....
all of us...

we sing kids songs...
silly songs...
made up songs...
oldies...

we all know Elmo's song...
we all know the Alphabet song...
we remember songs that we sang when my kids were young...
they have all come back to us...

we sing..we dance...we explore...we read books...
we laugh...we roll around on the floor....
we look at the world in different light...
the joys of children...the joys of grandkids...
JOY....

It's so much fun to go through childhood again, isn't it. Our daughter is home for the weekend so we are having a blast here, too!

I especially love that pic of him walking with Grand Daddy. It is soooooooooooooo precious! :-)

OK, do you remember "Punky Punkin"? :-) (Did I sing this for you, last year too? LOL)

Punky pumpkin, the happy pumpkin,
And do you know why?
'Cause he's a Jack-O-Lantern,
'Stead of being pumpkin pie.

Punky pumpkin, the happy pumpkin,
Always wears a smile.
A smile is just a frown,
Turned upside down.

Gentle hugs,
"Auntie♥" (who is backkkkkkkkkkk) ,-)

My kids and grandkids tease me because I have a song for everything (sadly I can't really carry a tune).
There is nothing like the joy our grandkids bring into our lives.

What a sweet and happy post. I'm missing my grandchildren being toddlers, they grow up too fast.

The sweetest and best 'joy' of all. What a blessed little boy Little Britches is to have such a loving, fun family and fur family to grow up with. Loved this post and as always the pictures are amazing. Hugs
