yellow flowers make me smile...
they just seem like sunshine to me....

big changes here in Texas...
cool weather has hit us...

it has been down right chilly....
which I guess it should be that way in October....

I've decided to do Thanksgiving cards this year...
Thanksgiving gets a raw deal...
Everyone gets so excited about Halloween...

then the move right in on Christmas...
I've been seeing Christmas out since July...
Halloween started right after that...
poor Thanksgiving gets a few shelves....
Christmas and Halloween get there own stores...
Sunday I was able to get the photos I wanted...
made my cards through Walgreens...
picked them up today....
so excited to send them out...
Do you like sending out holiday cards?
which holidays do you send them out on?

Yellow flowers make me smile too!
It can be a lot of work but I love sending out Christmas cards. I do Halloween cards with $5. for the 8 young children in the family who all live out of state. I send out Thanksgiving, Valentines Day and Easter too!

These are awesome photos but I really like the first one. Looks like yellow flower pillows.

I usually send Christmas cards, but it seems like I send fewer each year. I like the idea of Thanksgiving cards.
The yellow flowers are absolutely gorgeous.

i always say yellow flowers are God's Smiley faces, they are my favorite and 2nd fav is purple flowers. you have all of that today.
I don't send greeting cards for any holidays or even birthdays. i send e cards and emails and create cards in photoshop and then email them. I sent Christmas cards, but stopped that 10 years ago. i do not decorate for holidays and never have, except for a tree at Christmas, and now that tree shrunk in size to 2 feet about 10 years ago.

Your photos... Of natural jewels... Lovely.

I used to enjoy sending Birthday cards. But never got enjoyment out of sending Christmas cards. Just duty. Ugh...

For some time, I've not sent any cards. If you get pleasure from doing so, I say do it! Enjoy!

Gentle hugs,
"October, here’s to you. Here’s to the heady aroma of the frost-kissed apples, the wine-y spell of ripened grapes, the wild-as-the-wind smell of hickory nuts and the nostalgic whiff of that first wood smoke." ~ Ken Weber

Gorgeous flowers and great pictures. My favorite holiday and you are right it never gets the recognition it deserves. I used to send out lots of cards but I no longer send them. I sent out Thanksgiving and Christmas cards mostly. Hugs
