 as I'm writing....it is thundering...
lightening...raining....pea size hailing...
the wind is blowing....
we have a metal roof...
love the sound of rain on a metal roof...

today has been a productive day....
I went to Lowes this morning...
I got stand up shelves for my laundry room...
both bathrooms....
got myself a pink tool box....
added a few new tools and nails ...
got Hotrod a few tools for his tool box at his house...
I bought pansies...on sale...$1.98 for a 8 pack...
bought some marked down Mums....
they ended up being $1.00 each for the large containers...
I brought them home...clipped off the dead flowers...
now they are beautiful...
I got all the flowers planted....
before the rain started...
got my patio cleaned off...once again....
then I got started on the laundry room...
Lowes had their cube baskets on sale...
 $3.49 each...the yellow ones only...
clearance...I guess no one wanted yellow...
I don't mind yellow...
will brighten up the laundry room...

 Hubby cooked a pork loin....
I baked a squash...and sweet potatoes...
it was a good supper...
tomorrow Hubby will put the shelving together...
then I will put my laundry room back together...
now for a glass of wine...
feet up on my foot stool...
and chilling...

laundry rooms need yellow to keep them from being boring.

i to love the sound of rain on a tin roof, my grandmothers house had one... rather not have the hail though. you did have a productive day.

I wondered about the weather at home. It rain ALL NIGHT down here at LD's son's ranch......which made it a muddy day down here! Lucy was in dog heaven. MAN, will SHE get a bath when we get home! LD and I both need to buy pairs of mud boots for our visits down here. How much FUN your Hotrod would have here! HUGE puddles that I had a ball sloshing though!
