 I saw this on Facebook...
thought I would see if Hotrod enjoyed it...
you just get a colander...
some pipe cleaners...
let them use their imagination...
great eye hand coordination...
he really enjoyed it...
then I traced his hand...
pulled out the feathers and glue...
our first turkey of the season....

after all the artsy stuff...
we needed some fresh air...
so off on our Adventure walk...
look who we ran into...
Mr and Mrs Chicken...
they were as curious about us...
as we were them...
they came really close...
but when they saw we didn't have food...
off they went...
our next stop was the rock hill...
Hotrod was digging for a Rabbit...
he has had Rabbits on his mind today....

there is nothing more fun than filling your pockets...
full of rocks....

except maybe dumping them back out....
My Hotrod is turning into a real BOY...
he has been his Pawpaws shadow lately...
Pawpaw is now taking him on short trips with him...
they will run to the store together...
or to drop off things....
he really likes going to the store with Pawpaw...
I'm very proud of Pawpaw...
they come back with mostly healthy snacks...
not candy...or cookies...

What a great project for kids, busy time! Love Mr.& Mrs. Chicken. I go to a small P.O. in Etiwanda, CA and there is a home next door with chickens/roosters and almost every time, no matter what time of day, someone is cockadooledoo...ing! Love all the pictures.
