 the sun is shining....
there was a frost on the ground this morning...
temps are rising....

Hubby is getting things ready to make the dressing....
when he clears the kitchen...
I will do my fruit salad...
and veggie-relish tray....
the house smells like turkey...
Hubby cooked a small turkey over night...
to put in his dressing...

Hotrod's Mommy and Daddy are hosting this year...
my son is frying a turkey...
his first attempt...
he asked Hubby to come assist...
Supervise....
Hotrod says Pawpaw is the supervisor...
not the worker...lol...

My Mom is doing the giblet gravy...pies...
My daughter is doing a green bean casserole...
one that is Paleo friendly (that's my sweet girl)...
My Daughter in law is doing the rest....
her first Thanksgiving to host...
first Thanksgiving in their new home....

Yesterday I was thinking of all the folks I am thankful for...
instead of sending out a one fits all Thanksgiving greeting...
I decided to send personal messages to my loved ones...

 I felt so completely blessed....
99% of the folks I sent notes too...
sent me the most wonderful...personal messages...
my heart is full....

some of them I rarely see...
but we keep in touch through facebook...
a few I have never met in person...
they are my Hubbies cousins...
but I feel like I have known them my whole life...
Hubby wants me to thank you all for the nice Birthday wishes...
he is not a tech person...
he doesn't email...text...facebook or blog....
he hardly answers his cell phone...
unless it is me..our son...or daughter...
so his friends...family...contact me...
to get to him....
I've always been his personal secretary...lol...
The ladybug family...furbabies included...
wish you all a safe and Happy Turkey Day...

What a perfectly lovely post for this day! We have so much to be thankful for it seems our hearts can't hold it all! I guess it will just have to spill over and bless others - which is exactly what you do!!!

I haven't checked in on you for awhile and I've missed you. I loved looking at all your wonderful pictures that you've posted recently. Your thanksgiving sounds like family fun, and that's the way it should be.
